It is our voice as Independent business owners that will help change this act to accommodate our needs and the wants of public to be able to buy locally made products and know that extra care was put into the making of their skincare products.

These samples letters are a great, but the most effective portion of your letter is where you share your own story. In order to make changes happen, we must make our companies come alive. Touch the heart of those who have a vote and the media who can help us spread the word of the devastating results that this legislation would have in our industry. Dingell is the chairman of the subcommittee in charge of this draft bill and it is important that you voice your opinion with his office.  It is important to check your anger at the door and speak calmly and efficiently in order to be effectively heard.  They have already been flooded with angry emails. Had this legislation been in place many of the large cosmetic companies that exist today would have never had an opportunity. I am asking you to give everyone an opportunity to take part in the American dream. Please don’t close the door on small and mostly women owned businesses in America today.
